ASCC R&D Program Manager attends Bridging Arctic Gateways workshop co-hosted by UMaine, UAF & ARCUS

The UMaine Advanced Structures & Composites Center’s (ASCC) R&D Program Manager Cody Sheltra attended the Bridging Arctic Gateways workshop co-hosted by the University of Maine, the University of Alaska Fairbanks, and the Arctic Research Consortium of the United States (ARCUS) November 15-16, 2023.

This collaboration workshop brought together foremost researchers from all three institutions to “identify and select priority focus areas for a shared research agenda among researchers working in Alaska and the North Atlantic and work to promote greater awareness, exchange, and convergence among research units at UMaine and UAF,” (ARCUS).

“The workshop was a collaborative brainstorm on how to connect the universities efforts when it comes to research regarding cold climates,” said Sheltra.
