At the ASCC, safety is one of our top priorities. Each month, we recognize students who go above and beyond to contribute to a safer working environment. For July and August, we are proud to celebrate two exceptional students: Trevor Knoedler and Cole Guimond.
Trevor Knoedler, ASCC July Safety Student of the Month
Trevor, a mechanical engineering student, is part of a team dedicated to developing stronger, longer-lasting transportation infrastructure. Nominated by his supervisor, Noah Pringle, Trevor is recognized for his “strong respect for safety” and willingness to guide his peers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
Cole Guimond, ASCC August Safety Student of the Month
In August, we recognized Cole, a chemical engineering student and valued member of the Lab Ops team. Jointly nominated by supervisors Lucas Shorette and Wendy Flannery, Cole is recognized for his growth “as a leader and a role model amongst his peers.” He’s also commended for his initiative in speaking up with thoughtful suggestions to improve safety practices whenever needed.
Both Trevor and Cole exemplify the qualities the ASCC hopes to instill in our students – a commitment to safety, leadership, and initiative. Thank you, Trevor and Cole, for the work you do here at the ASCC.
