Abstract:

The authors attempted to analyze current academic programmes in wood science and related academic programmes and address a wide range of questions that should be answered to make curricula on wood science more attractive to students. Recent discussion papers presented in the literature are also discussed. The paper funber presents conclusions of the international symposium “Wood Science – Education and Research Programmes”.
