Offshore Energy and Yahoo Finance highlight collaboration between the Advanced Structures and Composites Center (ASCC) and Maine Maritime Academy in the successful deployment of a 1/6th scale Oscilla Triton wave energy converter. This 12-week test, deployed off the coast of Castine, Maine, will test how the Triton will respond to extreme weather conditions off the coast to determine the design viability at a full 1 MW scale.
