Lauren Ross, a participating faculty member at the Advanced Structures and Composites Center was featured in UMaine News highlighting her educational accomplishments in the study of estuarine physics. She was recently awarded a Fulbright, and Ross will soon lead a team of scientists to look at transition points between the seas and freshwater rivers in Chile, a place where many lives depend on a healthy ocean-based ecosystem.
