UMaine composite center wins two industry awards
ORONO – Two of the most prestigious awards in the wood products industry were presented Thursday to the University of Maine Advanced Engineered Wood Composites Center during a conference in Florida.
“It’s really exciting for the university and for the state as a whole,” AEWC director Habib Dagher said Friday. “In our industry, this is just like winning the Super Bowl. Or for the university, it’s like winning the national hockey championship.”
