Peter Drown
Peter Drown is the lead, internal-facing member of the Advanced Structures and Composites Center operations, charged with ensuring smooth and efficient operations of Center with 70 associated faculty and staff, 150 students, and $10-$20M annual contract research turnover. Drown manages internal resources for quality, safety, efficiency growth, and expansion and coordinates human-physical-financial resource allocation and planning across projects.
Prior to joining the ASCC, Drown managed operational strategy and business development for an engineering and construction firm in Washington D.C. He has previously founded and led a successful consultancy focused on clean energy technology commercialization and developed a new investment strategy for the U.S. Department of Energy.
