Aaron Schanck

Aaron is a senior Computer Science major from Pittsfield, Maine. Aaron began working with the center in January of 2019 as a Student Research Assistant.

 

Aaron has great personal interest in coding, specifically in app development. In the future, Aaron hopes to work in app or software development.  He is responsible for much of the video editing and animation needs of the Center. Over the past few years, Aaron has been working on a virtual tour of the Center. 

 

He has also gotten the chance to work with the Safety/Laboratory Office Manager, Chris Urquhart as well as the Executive Director of the Center, Habib Dagher. When asked what working at the center has been like, Aaron said that it is “Perspective-inducing to work for large companies and the government. It feels like you are doing something bigger than yourself.”
