The World's Largest 3D Printer
The University of Maine Advanced Structures and Composites Center located in Orono, Maine recently installed the world’s largest thermoplastic 3D printer. In the process, the Center set 3 new Guinness World Records, including the largest 3D printed boat.
The UMaine Composites Center is at the cutting-edge of large-scale additive manufacturing, particularly in marine and infrastructure applications.
